We open this week with the reality of the ongoing threat of the Soviet Union through it’s many fronts and active measures that took on a life of their own, and outlived the official existence of their Communist Empire. This reality is reflected in the NGO scandal exposed by DOGE and others. It also surfaces as rhetoric and beliefs that have permeated all major political parties and movements, from Conservatism to Libertarianism.

Now that we’re getting a bit deeper into this project let me once more remind you, dear readers, that the objective of dumping the whole mass of existential threats onto the public is not, in fact, demoralization, but a reality check. Far too many are gliding on through thinking the fact that they checked the box for Trump and Vance nearly a year ago bought them a four year vacation.
The intent here is to demonstrate that we must walk and chew gum, and to highlight that failure is not an option. We may have bought ourselves a bit of time by checking that box, and we surely have made some strides on many fronts towards solutions, but we have not yet achieved a single solution to a single problem we face.
If you’ve become calloused or defeated by the reality we are presenting of the very real threats we face please recalibrate and remoralize. We need you. We need you on your A game. We need you enacting solutions in your spheres of influence, building out strategies, and establishing parallel institutions. We must, at a minimum, build a safety net capable of catching large amounts of our nation and culture as the slow-motion trainwreck proceeds apace, and it all unravels.

We arrive now at our final episode in our American Caesar series. We discuss here the specific mechanisms, ethical considerations, and tactical moves necessary in the Executive who might restore the republic. It’s not an easy thing to consider, but it’s high time that it must be.
This also likely marks the last public episode of this format - hence, the reversal of the prior decision to make this available only to paid subscribers. It is necessary for us to explore other formats going forward, as the cost of producing these videos has increased, and it has not been met with a commensurate increase in paid subscriptions. As we have operated for months at a loss we must now change. We are exploring the possibility of moving forward with a podcast-like format. However, though presently unknown, there is an expiration date on the Counterspell project unless a significant increase in support can be gained. We hope you might share us with friends towards this end.
Though we long hoped it would never come this time, it has, in fact, come. The reasonable and respectable avenues of normal polity have been cut-off from us. We face an illegitimate, revolutionary and detestable democracy where our constitutional republic belongs.
